Fight TIE fighters in the comfort of your living room

An upcoming game from developer, Vertigore, will allow you to use your surroundings as a location to fight epic space battles using Augmented Reality technology. Called Star Wars Arcade: Falcon Gunner, this game uses your iPhone’s camera, compass and accelerometer to turn wherever you are sitting into a battle field. And just in case you don’t have any nice locations around you to use (who wants to fight a battle in a toilet, right?) you can turn on the regular space backdrop instead. The game should be available anytime now but til then, you can feast your eyes on a video demo of the game after the break. Who’s up for blasting TIE fighters while wearing your jammies?
