A couple of days ago when we reported about the Dell Venue Pro having trouble connecting to secure networks, Dell was contacted about the issue. Today they have released a statement on their blog concerning the WiFi problem. According to them, the issue is a software glitch and it only affects phones that were purchased between November 8 and 9. Dell stated that the problem has been fixed and affected users can return their phones beginning next week for a free replacement. With a problem as huge as this it’s amazing how it even passed quality control in the first place. Granted, the folks at Dell are nice enough to offer a replacement phone, but should slip-ups like these even happen in the first place? Let us know how you feel about it in the comments.
