It’s almost here. Cyanogen has just posted a tweet saying:”CM 6.1 on G2 status: DONE.” Cyanogen Mod, a popular custom firmware created by Cyanogen and meant to increase performance as well as add new features to Android phones. It has been made to work on many devices such as the Dell Streak, HTC Desire, Motorola Droid, Samsung Galaxy S, and is now on the T-Mobile G2. Though it hasn’t been released by Cyanogen yet- there’s still cleaning and optimization to be done, expect it available to the public soon- a nice treat for those of you who recently perma-rooted your T-Mobile G2.
