CEO of Sony Ericsson hints about the PlayStation Phone

The CEO of Sony Ericsson, Bert Nordberg, has said some interesting things about to the Wall Street Journal about the possibility of a Play Station phone. “There’s a lot of smoke, and I tell you there must be a fire somewhere. Sony has an extremely strong offering in the gaming market, and that’s very interesting. Sony is of course a very strong brand, and why shouldn’t we use that? Gaming, including content, is a very interesting proposition.” He then goes on to talk about how the current touchscreen phones aren’t optimized for games and that Sony Ericsson plans to make a huge splash at the next GSM Mobile World Congress (the world’s biggest trade show for mobile phones) next year in Spain. With a statement like that, you can’t help but wonder what he means by it. What are your thoughts about the possibility of a PlayStation phone announced next year?
