BlackBerry Bold 9780 is now available from T-Mobile

RIM’s highly-anticipated refresh to the BlackBerry Bold 9700 has finally made its way to our stores. The Bold 9780 will be available from T-Mobile stores nationwide starting from today. This updated phone isn’t too different from the previous Bold. It features a better 5 megapixel camera, twice the amount of RAM at 512MB, and most importantly- BlackBerry OS 6 out of the box. OS 6 brings a whole new experience to the BlackBerry, with the inclusion of a universal search, an updated UI, and the WebKit browser that brings the desktop internet experience onto the mobile phone. So if you’re looking for a BlackBerry, but the Torch is much too fancy, you can’t go wrong with the classic BlackBerry design on the Bold- In fact, the 9780 is almost identical to the 9700. The BlackBerry Bold 9780 comes in Black or White, and will be sold for $129.99 with a 2-year contract and $499.99 off-contract.
