Archos 101 tablet dissected

If you ever wanted to know what the inside of an Archos 101 tablet looks like, look no further. An Archos 101 user in Europe was recently annoyed by a loose screw inside his tablet and decided to take it apart to fix problem. In doing so, he figured that he might as well document the whole operation, photograph it and post it online. And now we have knowledge of what goes inside the tablet without taking one apart ourselves. The Archos 101 Tablet has a 1GHz processor, Android 2.2, front and rear cameras, HDMI output, 16GB internal storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 10.1″ touchscreen. With the specs mentioned and a price tag under $300, it’s a pretty good bargain. The Tablet isn’t sold Stateside at the moment, but we’re hoping that it arrives. Would you ever dissect a tablet device on your own, just to see what’s wrong? Head over to the Archos Lounge forum for more pictures of the dissection.
