It looks like Apple will be prioritizing voice recognition features in their upcoming iPhones. According to a recent video interview, Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple) shared his vision on what the upcoming iPhone should be like. He mentions that the in the future, iPhones will have more memory for apps and music, as apps will become more complex and get bigger, and a way of using the phone more naturally with a huge emphasis on voice recognition. “I think voice recognition is going to become, more and more, a part of these machines,” says Wozniak. He then goes on to mention that Apple has bought Nuance, a company that specializes in voice recognition technology. Nuance’s voice recognition engine has even been used by players such as Google in their Android operating system, which gives testament to their prowess.
