Someone by the name of Josh sent an email to Steve Jobs asking him if Apple would match the price of TJ Maxx’s iPads and if TJ Maxx an authorized reseller. He received a short and simple reply from the man himself- “Nope. And nope.” It looks like the only way you’ll be able to get your hands on these cheap iPads are through TJ Maxx, though is no telling why the devices are on sale for so cheap- there are rumors of them being refurbished floating around, so make sure you do some investigating before you buy anything. The fact that Steve Jobs states that TJ Maxx isn’t an authorized reseller makes the whole deal sound pretty shady. But we’re not one to jump to conclusions, so we’ll keep you posted if we learn anything new.
