Apple to release an iPad newspaper called “the Daily”

It looks like Steve Jobs is stopping at nothing to make sure that Apple is a part of everybody’s life from making phones to creating a store for you to buy music, it seems like there is nothing Apple won’t do. Time to add one more to the list: an Apple newspaper. Apple and Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation have been reported to team up together to bring a newspaper for iPad owners. Called “the Daily”, it will be an iPad only daily newspaper- meaning you won’t be able to access it from anywhere but your iPad. Set to be US-centric and available for $0.99 a week, “the Daily” is set to launch later this month. With a huge number of iPads that have been bought in the States, it’s going to be a significant revenue stream for Apple in the future. What do you think of an iPad newspaper?
