Remember the Backflip update that was promised to 1,000 volunteers last week? Well the update is has finally been verified safe for the remaining Backflip users to enjoy. Motorola has released the update for users to download from their site- it’s not going to be an OTA update so if you want Android 2.1, you gotta work for it. It’s not too hard though- Motorola has included instructions on their site to guide you. Android 2.1 brings new features such as more Google Apps, access to a larger range of apps on the Android Market, more home screen panels, new widgets, corporate email access, an improved media gallery and much more.
