Acer Liquid Metal

Acer’s Android phone, the Acer Liquid Metal might be heading to our shores. According to Aymar de Lencquesaing, the president of Acer’s smartphone unit, AT&T and T-Mobile are the most likely candidates to release the phone- with both of them being GSM networks. It should probably arrive on AT&T’s network, to help boost their miserable line up of Android phones. But it wouldn’t be a bad thing either if it arrives on both networks- Acer could use the extra sales. This sexy looking phone will pack a 3.6″ phone, wrapped in curved metal, and will pack the same 800MHz Qualcomm  processor used in the G2/Desire Z. It will have a 5 megapixel camera, DLNA support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and run on Android 2.2. No telling whether the deal will fall through, but we’ll keep you updated.
