It looks like Acer has been unveiling a lot of new devices today. One of the more interesting ones which caught our attention is their 10.1″ Windows 7 tablet. Now we know that Windows 7 wasn’t specifically designed for tablet devices, but it’s good to see manufacturers giving a go at making it work. Not much was announced for the Windows 7 tablet, except that it will be powered by an AMD processor and will support WiFi and 3G to ensure you stay connected wherever you go. The sleek looking tablet weighs around 2.2 pounds and is only 15mm thick. With 1.3 megapixel cameras for the front and back, expect this device to come in handy for your video conferencing sessions. If things go according to plan, the tablet will be available in February 2011. The tablet will also be released with a dock that includes a full-sized keyboard to turn it into a more feasible workstation. Looks like Acer are trying to replace some netbooks with this device. What do you think?
