Will The Palm Pre Fail?

Will the Palm Pre fail badly? Well, that’s certainly what Ashok Kumar, analyst for Collin Stewart, thinks. Claiming that the recent rumors of a supply control are inaccurate, rather that palm has been reducing production because it is facing multiple software and hardware problems. With that in mind, Mr. Kumar thinks that the target of 1M units shipped by the end of the year is highly unrealistic. Of course, that’s just the view of one analyst, and it does sound more than a little pessimistic. For Palm’s sake, we certainly hope that Mr. Kumar’s analysis of the situation isn’t correct. Of course, only time will tell, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
