Slingplayer For iPhone Soon?

We’ve previously heard all the rumors before, and we know that Slingplayer is having a lot of trouble getting approval for the App Store. The good news is that Sling has updated its official page, and it does seem to take some effort to give users assurance that they’re busy working on getting Slingplayer on the App Store. A statement on the website reads:

“The team has been working hard to bring the SlingPlayer Mobile experience to the iPhone and iPod Touch. We’ve submitted the first release of our application to the iPhone App Store. We are in close contact with our partners at Apple and are optimistic that it will be approved soon. We hope the wait won’t be much longer.”
