RIM looks like it’s doing rather well, as it has just announced its financial results for the fiscal period ending February 29, 2009. Its 4th quarter net income increased to $518.3 million from $412.5 million year-over-year, which amounts to a 25.6% increase. Total revenue for the 4th quarter was up by 24.5% to $3.46 billion from the previous $2.78 billion. Revenue for the fiscal year was $11.07 billion, rising 84% from last year’s $6.01 billion. Rim states that it shipped 7.8 million devices in the 4th quarter and 26 million devices during the fiscal year. Aside from that, it also added 3.9 new BlackBerry subscriber accounts in Q4 to hit 25 million users. Not too shabby, eh?
