O2 To Offer The XDA Venn

It looks like O2 is gearing up to release a new XDA smartphone, as word is out that Pantech of Korea is working on the device for them. The device will supposedly be dubbed the XDA Venn. Details are rather scarce at the moment, but it should sport quad-band GSM, GPRS, EDGE and single-band UMTS/HSDPA at 2100 MHz. There isn’t any information as to what operating system the device will sport, but traditionally it has always been Windows Mobile, so is there any chance of it being different this time?
