Nokia certainly doesn’t want to be left out of the whole “AppStore” fad, and its OVI store should be launched in early May. The service should be integrated with its N97, and should be available for all S40/S60 phones in the future. One of the cooler features of the OVI store is that your (OVI) friends will be able to know what apps you’ve been downloading, and the store will even feature different apps, depending on your network’s interest and also geographical location. The OVI store is also carrier-friendly, so carriers can tailor a design a feature apps on the store. The good news for users who don’t want to provide their credit card info and there will be a unified billing system, cutting down the hassle.
