Japanese Waterproof Cell Phones

Here’s something that we might not think of everyday. A lot of us don’t use our mobile phones in the shower, but yet when we cast a roving eye at the gadgets over in Japan, a lot of the phones there are waterproof. Well, apparently it’s because Japanese folks like to spend a lot of time in the bath, and they practically swear by the health benefits of long and hot baths. After you’ve taken that in, it’s not that hard to understand why they seem to have this weird compulsion to come out with waterproof phones. After all, if you’re going to spend quite a bit of time lounging in the bath, why not make a few phone calls while you’re at it, right?
