Elektrobit Satellite Hybrid Phone

CTIA 2009 certainly brought us many interesting devices, and Elektrobit was one of those who had something up their sleeves for the show. They announced that they’re working on the first satellite-cellular hybrid phone, a Satellite-Terrestrial Device, and it should even be able to get into action before 2010 comes around (if everything goes according to plan, of course). While there isn’t any information on how much it will cost, or when it will be released, specifications of the device are available:

• Terrestar 2.2 GHz
