Classic For Palm Pre

We talked about it a few days ago, and the notion of running most of our favorite PalmOS apps on the Palm Pre (albeit via emulation) has gotten us all hyped up. The additional details that have emerged show that MotionApp has got the special rights to code the only officially approved PalmOS simulator for the webOS, and it’s called Classic, which is a very apt name, don’t you think so? According to latest reports, it will be able to run over 30,000 PalmOS applications at speeds that are nearly twice as fast as they would be executed on a Treo 700p. How’s that for further motivation to get the Palm Pre when it’s released?
