Windows Mobile 6.5 Honeycomb Explained
Some of you might have been wondering whether the developers over at Microsoft have been fed honey for months or something when they came up with the honeycomb looking interface for Windows Mobile 6.5, many even complained that you’ll get around 8 icons fully on the screen instead of a possible 9 if a grid interface was used. Folks around the Internet have been doing some research into the matter, and they’ve come to the conclusion that it’s actually the best way to maximize the surface area available to touch each icon, while maximizing the number of icons on the screen. It has also been mentioned that our fingers aren’t square shaped, so mis-presses would be less common with the honeycomb design. What do you think? Love or hate?
