Windows Marketplace Webpage?

We’re all waiting to see if Microsoft can muster a challenge against Apple’s successful App Store, and amidst all the eager anticipation, some folks have discovered a link which points to client.marketplace.windowsmobile.com. Upon inspection, you’re presented with a web page that has been formatted for mobile devices. The page promises the ability to find and download free or premium apps in the near future. While that’s certainly useful, it’s going to be more than a little disappointing if this is Microsoft’s answer to Apple’s App Store. Hopefully Microsoft will launch something similar to, if not better, than Apple’s App Store, as a mobile-formatted web page certainly isn’t going to challenge the almighty App Store.
