Samsung has announced a rugged hand phone for the adventurer in you. The B2100 Xplorer (it has a loud speakerphone) has been IP57 certified for ingress protection against water (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes), dust, hot and cold temperatures, even salt fog. In addition to being a quad-band GSM/EDGE candybar device, it has impressive features that include noise cancellation, FM Radio, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 1.3-megapixel camera, microSD card support and even a flashlight. Samsung intends to aggressively ”xplore” and scale the European markets with this rugged Xplorer.
