Nokia Banks On LTE

It really isn’t much of a surprise, but it’s still nice to get some official confirmation. Nokia has chosen LTE (Long Term Evolution) as its preferred network for future devices, with the first LTE products by Nokia expected in 2010. Nokia’s senior manager of technology market, James Harper, said that LTE was its preferred mobile broadband technology after HSPA, and that WiMAX is a niche play. It looks like we can safely rule out receiving any Nokia WiMAX products in the near future.
