Nokia 5800 Does Multitouch Too

Nokia’s 5800 seems to be grabbing all the headlines of late, unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. Fortunately for Nokia, this latest news update is a bit of positive news for the phone, though probably not something that Nokia had in its plans. A self-described “homebrew coder” Jamie Fuller has managed to get the device to support multitouch, and even come up with a proof of concept application, which is similar to a Guitar Hero styled game, albeit slightly different. What makes this achievement more interesting is the fact that neither the hardware nor software of the 5800 supports Multitouch.
