HTC Germany Injunction Suspended

HTC has been given a reprieve in its problems with patent troll IP-Com when the appellate court in Germany temporarily suspended the injunction placed on HTC future sales of devices carrying an unnamed chipset. HTC insists that they had not infringed IP-Com’s patent portfolio, even questioning the validity of the patent portfolio in the first place. The case is expected to be reviewed in 4 weeks’ time.
