Google Settles Visual Voicemail Suit

Published

on

Klausner Technologies have been going after everybody who has been touting Visual Voicemail in their services recently, as they hold the patents for the technology in the US, Europe and Asia. Apple and AT&T have settled the suits that were filed against them. Next on the list to settle is Google. Neither Google nor Klausner divulged the terms of the deal. In a separate but remotely related announcement, T-Mobile has agreed to license Klausner’s European Visual Voicemail patents in 17 European countries, which allows the service to be used on all of its phones (that are able to support it), not just the iPhone.
