EU Agrees On Caps For International Data
Tired of getting those insanely huge mobile phone bills once you leave the country? Well, the good news is, you’re most likely not the only one. The EU has announced that members of the European Parliament (MEPs) have reached an agreement. Users will be given a more practical calling scheme, and in terms of international roaming data, users will be able to be warned if they use up to 80% of their allotted bandwidth. If they wish to continue using the service, they’ll have to prompt users to confirm that they’re willing to break the 50 Euros barrier, most likely via SMS.
