Custom Cell Phone Charger

What do you do when your cell phone needs more juice and you’re a million miles away from civilization? Well, you can always build your own custom cell phone charger, which is what some folks did. The device (pictured) has a crank which you can turn to pull the strings which will in turn activate the pulleys, generating electricity in the blue-colored capacitor, juicing up your mobile phone. It certainly looks like you’ll need to use a fair bit of effort in order to keep your phone alive, but when you’re out in the wild, it’s worth it, right?
