Will 2009 be a good year for Microsoft’s Windows Mobile platform? Well, its Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Turner, certainly thinks so, as evidenced by a recent interview that was conducted with him. While answering a question on whether Microsoft would consider making its own cell phone, he inadvertently revealed that they’re going to sell 22 million copies of Windows Mobile in 2009. It certainly sounds very optimistic when you first see it, but when you take a couple of steps backwards and look at the market, you’ll know that he isn’t joking. Are you looking to buy a Windows Mobile device in 2009? If you are, it would probably be a good idea to see what phones will be introduced by manufacturers this year.
