Sprint Treo Pro Delayed By Memory Issue

While the bad news of Sprint’s Treo Pro being delayed is beginning to settle into our system, engineers from HTC have confirmed that the delay of the Sprint Treo Pro is related to ROM testing and certification to solve an issue that leaves the Treo Pro with about 40MB of free memory, despite the phone shipping with 256MB of RAM and without any applications running in the background. The rumored new launch date has been slated for March 15th, so hopefully they’ll be able to work out all the kinks by then.
