There is now a new way to alert the police if you’re in London, and that’s via SMS. The service is mainly for people who have hearing or speech impediments, but there’s nothing wrong with using the service if you don’t have such problems anyway. Users will need to send a message with their location, brief details of what is happening, and their name. Users will receive a confirmation text when the police actually receive the text message. Quite handy, isn’t it?
