RIM Gets Certicom

While many thought that VeriSign had initially outbid RIM by offering $2.10 per share for Certicom, it looks like RIM has managed to outbid the company by offering C$3.00 per share, making the deal valued over $130 million. Jeffrey Chisholm, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Certicom has urged shareholders to vote in favor on this development.
