Nokia E55 Goes Official At MWC
At a glance, Nokia’s E55 is quite similar to the E75, though it’s much lighter due to the lack of the sideways-sliding QWERTY keyboard. Just because Nokia ditched the sideways-sliding keyboard doesn’t mean that there isn’t a QWERY keyboard for you, as Nokia has taken a form factor similar to the BlackBerry Pearl where there are 2 alphabetical letters on each key. The only downside of this phone is its relatively low resolution 320 x 240 screen, which only serves to make its 470 Euro price tag seem expensive. Aside from that, features of the device include:
- S60 Platform
- HSDPA, Wi-Fi b/g
- 116x49x9.9mm, 98g
- 28 days of battery life in stand-by mode (Nokia’s numbers)
- 2.4-inch display (320×240)
- 60MB of internal memory, 2GB micro-SD included (16GB max)
- 3.2 MP camera
- 3.5mm audio jack
- 2 Colors: White and Aluminum
