Nokia Borrows 636 Million

Despite the bad economy, Nokia has still managed to borrow 500 million Euros ($636 million) from the European Investment Bank. This will be stretched over 5 years and will be tailored towards research and development projects between now and 2011. While the money will be used for Nokia’s own internal work, but the research that is funded by the loan will certainly help the Symbian Foundation and non-Nokia Symbian devices. Does this mean that we’ll be getting more full screen touchphones in the future?
