NEC Makes Pictures Look Better

NEC Electronics has introduced a new application-specific standard product (ASSP) which will allow users to upscale images from QVGA resolutions (320 x 240 pixels) to WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) while reducing the blurring effect that is associated with such actions. Image data in 640 x 480 VGA format can also be boosted to 1920 x 1080 high-definition, which will be a boon to many users.
