Motorola Dismisses More Staff

Hanging around Motorola certainly can’t be good for you in terms of job security at the moment. The company is clearly going through a bad patch, not to mention with the current economic climate. The next victims of the economic crisis will be a bunch of Motorola’s workers in China. Reports are going around that 1,000 Motorola workers are being dismissed from the research and development team of the mobile phone department. Aside from that, the software platform project has suffered too, as it currently only has about 100 staff. Motorola will certainly need to get a grip on things and turn its fortunes around before it’s too late.
