HTC Manufactures Most Windows Mobile Handsets

These statistics shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, but reports online indicate that it was unveiled at MWC this week that HTC ships about 80% of the Windows Mobile phones globally. Senior Vice President of Microsoft’s Mobile Communications Business Andy Lees told the crowd that the company has sold 50 million Windows Mobile handsets worldwide, while HTC stated that it has sold 40 million Windows Mobile handsets. 80% of the Windows Mobile handsets, that’s certainly a nice statistic for HTC to have, isn’t it?
