Google Sync Licensing

Google just announced Google Sync a day or so ago, and now news is out that it was made possible by a patent license that they managed to get from Microsoft covering its implementation of the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol on Google’s servers. Now all we have to do is wait for enough users to use the service and report back their problems to gauge how well things are going for Google’s new service.
