Broadcom Chipset Supports Android
Broadcom has announced that the software that controls its Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM combo solution is a standard component of Android. Android developers will have open access to portions of Broadcom’s combo drivers, which should give developers an early start in terms of developing devices and applications in the future. It’s good to see that Google’s Android is gaining momentum, not that we’re trying to say that it wasn’t popular before. We’re still waiting for that “second Android device” to be available.
