BlackBerry Application Center Limited Support

Excited about RIM’s upcoming Application Center for your Blackberry? Depending on which BlackBerry device you’re using, there might be some bad news for you. According to some information online, it seems that the Application Center currently only supports the BlackBerry Bold and OS 4.7 (which is what the BlackBerry Storm uses). That doesn’t sound too nice a move, especially when you take into account the number of BlackBerry Pearl, Curve and other users out there. Considering that Apple and Google already have their online application stores up and running, limited the support to certain hardware configurations might not be the smartest move by RIM.
