Apple iPhone Safari Speed Boost?

By now most of us who use the Internet should know about Apple’s latest version of Safari, which includes the NitroBoost feature, boosting Javascript rendering by four times. That’s all fine and dandy, but there are folks beginning to wonder if this new technology will start filtering down to the iPhone’s Safari Mobile browser. It’s a logical question, considering that both browsers are built on the same Webkit core. The iPhone’s Safari Mobile browser already does a fairly good job with Javascript, but we certainly won’t complain if it gets further speed boosts. We’ll have to wait and see whether Safari Mobile gets this NitroBoost technology, but hopefully Apple does so, and soon.
