Amazon Kindle 2 Supports SIM Cards?

Most guys like to take apart gadgets and devices, especially if it belongs to other people. The clever folks over at iFIXit have dissected a Kindle 2 and discovered that there is enough space in the device to fit a SIM card, even though there are no SIM card holders in the device. A quick glance at the picture and you’ll notice that there is a nice marked area on the board that almost indicates a SIM card area. Will we have a version of the Kindle 2 that can support phone calls in the future? A Kindle 2 Phone, perhaps?
