Verizon Hub Goes Official

Verizon’s new Verizon Hub has finally gone official. The device which is aimed at replacing your traditional landline telephone is looking pretty interesting, as it uses a broadband connection to connect to the Internet and provide VoIP-based telephony services. Other features of the device include synchronizing calendar appointments with any Verizon Wireless handsets, and receive text messages. The Hub will be going for $200 after a $50 mail-in rebate, and you’ll also need a $35/month subscription which also entitles you to unlimited national anytime minutes and unlimited messaging to and from the device.
