Updates Coming For The Android Market

The Android Market is a nice place, though many would expect the number of applications there to increase once Google decides to implement paid apps. Fortunately, that shouldn’t be too far away, as Google has emailed registered Android Market members that the rollout of paid apps will be coming in the first quarter of next year, and will be done in stages. The US and the UK will get it first, followed by Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, and France, Italy and Spain after them. Updates to the Market site that are scheduled for mid-January will allow developers to target specific countries for their apps. The future does seem to look bright for the Android Market.
