Sprint WiMAX Delayed

While it was promised that Sprint’s Chicago WiMAX network would go live in 2008, the carrier has yet to do so. Sprint had initially launched its WiMAX network in Baltimore in 2009, and should be announcing the service in Portland this week. Todd Rowley, vice president of Sprint’s WiMAX network has said that they hope to get Chicago’s WiMAX network live by the end of 2009, which sounds like a long way off.
