The aforementioned instructions teach you how to add a supplemental solar panel to your handset. This is great for those who want to do their part in going green. Though keep in mind that as solar panels aren’t all that efficient, they won’t provide a big jump in battery life, but help to prolong your battery life during everyday use. This DIY project works best with selected handsets where there is plenty of space at the back, and phones with a sliding lens cover aren’t recommended because of interference with the total solar panel area available. It is recommended to have a certain amount of DIY prowess before starting this project.
