Prototype Flexible AMOLED Device

Universal Display will be showing off a rather unique device at Digital Experience 2009, which is its prototype flexible AMOLED communication device. The device was manufactured with support from the U.S. Department of Defense, and gives us a wrist-worn flexible AMOLED communication device that is fabricated on metal foil, which makes it both portable and rugged. The form factor of this display certainly gets us thinking where we can keep our displays in the future. Pen-phones with 3-inch roll-out display in the future, anyone?
