Palm Pre Goes Official

We’ve all been waiting for it, and its finally gone official. We’re talking about the new Palm device, which is called the Palm Pre. Featuring the upwards slider design that was initially speculated, the Pre will be powered by Palm’s latest OS – webOS. This new operating system will place a lot of focus on the Internet, and keeping people in touch. There isn’t any official pricing just yet, but many people are speculating that the phone might be going for at high as $400. Some of the features of the Palm Pre include:

  • EvDo, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and “fast processor”.
  • 3.1 inch touchscreen with a display resolution of 320×480.
  • Full QWERTY keyboard that slides out, placing the buttons at the bottom of the device.
  • 3-megapixel camera with LED flash.
  • 3.5mm headphone jack built into the side.
  • 8 GB of storage.
