Folks looking to get Palm’s latest baby, the Palm Pre, will undoubtedly have asked themselves before what battery the device uses. The good news is that the device uses the same battery as the Treo 800w and Palm Centro, though the battery is supposedly 1200mAh. Whether or not this will give the device enough juice to last a couple of days will probably depend on your usage, but there will definitely be larger aftermarket versions available once the device is launched.
